Code of Ethical Practice

All of the STA members are bound by the strict Code of Ethical Practice, which is in place to ensure that all installations, suppliers, manufacturers within the association meet the required standards.

The key criteris of the Code of Ethical Practice include:

  • To maintain and enhance the reputation if the STA and its members, encouraging growth and development of the solar thermal industry.
  • To ensure standards of competitive trading between member companies are in the interest of the General Public and well being of the Industry.
  • To increase consumer confidence by ensuring all Members provide the best possible service with quality materials.
  • To resolve complaints by end users in any aspect of the service carried out by Members.

The code of ethical practice also refers to and ensures that all member companies abide by legal obligations and standards referring to advertising, marketing, sales & Terms and Conditions.
