Information Provision
One of the main roles of the STA is to ensure that accurate and current information is distributed to the public, industry, member companies and the government regarding solar thermal technologies. Much of this information is now available on this website and will be updated regularly; however, we still produce newsletters summarizing the monthly industry news and key activities of the Association for our members.
The information which we distribute covers the range of the Association’s activities, such as:
- Promoting events; inclusive of events we support, attend and run
- Informing members about the endorsed training and certification courses
- Ensuring members are aware of latest government legislation and our responses to ongoing consultations
- Distributing technical reports
- Detailing the benefits of solar systems for domestic and commercial use
- Providing potential customers with up-to-date lists of member companies
