Standards & Certification
The STA has been a leading light in the development and maintenance of Industry standards, having a crucial role in constructing and promoting British, European and Government standards. Many of the Directors on the Council of the STA, along with representatives from member companies have sat on numerous committees, contributing to and authoring much of this excellent ongoing work. So, although much progress has already been made, the STA and it’s Council are continually involved in developments within training on a National level, for example mapping the training to the existing standards.

Ensuring transparency in standards is one of the STA’s long term goals. So although, much progress has already been made the STA and its Council are continuously trying to improve the transparency in mapping training to the standards.
