The panels, which are only visible to those with a bird’s eye view of the 16th Century Tudor Fort turned Edwardian Holiday home for the founder of Country Life Magazine, are hoped to generate just under 10,000 KWh of electricity each year. This could reduce the charity’s electricity bills by approximately 10%, saving 5.2 tonnes of CO2 annually, the equivalent of travelling almost 24,000 miles in an average car.
