Our Events

Our events are a hub for doing business in the UK solar industry, building the relationships and helping you seal the deals to make your company grow. STA paid events bring together influencers and opinion shapers form the industry, government and other bodies. At our members only meetings and working groups, key decisions are made on the position that STA takes on important issues while allowing members to network with others in the industry. Our list of carefully selected partner events provide a pre-screened list of interesting and relevant events to attend. PV Rooftop Working Group

The STA PV Rooftop Working Group leads on the domestic and commercial rooftop market. It discusses cost reductions, stakeholder engagement, impacts of Feed-in Tariff and Renewables Obligation policy and produces guides to help installers. The group also discusses technical issues surrounding G83, G59, MCS standards and fire safety standards, and is working to establish standards for the rapidly emerging storage industry.

STA Scotland, which is a sub-committee of the STA Board of Directors, coordinates the work of the STA in Scotland, both on solar PV and solar thermal, rooftop and ground mount. It is made up of two sub working groups, the STA Scotland Policy and Communications Working Group and the STA Scotland Rooftop Solar Working Group.
