Solar Trade Association Training

MCS Made Easy

With current National demand for MCS certification, linking companies to the Government scheme and enabling them to offer the Low Carbon Buildings Programme grant scheme, as well as displaying confirmation of the excellent quality management systems in place in their businesses, the STA has recently introduced a course named ‘MCS Made Easy’.

As the name suggests, the aim of this course is to provide all ‘tutees’ with the guidelines needed to work through the MCS application / certification process successfully. This course does not guarantee a successful application, but provides all with the information & structure they need, which if applied correctly, should result in MCS certification.

The course involves working through a comprehensive manual, which is completed through the duration of the day and can then be taken home for reference.

The pilot of this course, run on 21st August 2009, was hugely successful and was booked out well in advance, with many interested parties asked to wait until the next course dates were confirmed.

At present there are plans to run this course on a monthly basis, in a variety of nation-wide locations. If you are interested in finding more information on attending this course, please contact Grace Hyson who will provide you with the necessary details. To find out when and where the latest MCS Made Easy course is running, please have a look at our events page. Please also follow this link for the booking form and required company information form and please return these directly to Grace Hyson.
