- Organiser: STA Scotland
- Venue: Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation
Join us in Edinburgh on September 2 for the annual STA Scotland Conference.
Scotland’s accelerated race to net-zero has signalled a new level of leadership and ambition. The next several years will be critical in defining decarbonisation pathways and carving out a role for solar technology.
Solar power is a principal technology for local energy production, and solar’s synergies with storage, EVs, heat pumps, and smart grids can help provide a more resilient energy system. But, the technology has seen limited take up in Scotland, aside from the new-build housing sector.
So, this year’s flagship annual STA Scotland event is focusing on connections and influence. In order to deliver climate targets, government officials, DNOs, councils, businesses, house builders, property managers, innovators and academics need to be mobilised and to work alongside the solar & storage industry players. These key stakeholders are responsible for driving change, maximising the connection, installation, consumption and trading of solar power today and for the future proliferation of advanced solar technologies.
Setting Sights on Scottish Solar will also be exploring heat as the next decarbonisation frontier. Experts will be deliberating solar’s potential within heat decarbonisation and in collaboration with ETP, the role for innovation to extend the Scottish solar sector beyond deployment of imported products.
Register today to join 100 delegates across the industry to learn, network and do business. There will be opportunities to connect with industry leaders at our post-event networking drinks reception.
