With Scotland aiming to reach net zero by 2045 and COP26 being held in Glasgow later this year, it is clear that this decade will be critical in matching ambition with action. Solar has a vital role to play in decarbonising Scotland, and equally, Scotland has a critical role to play in contributing to the 40GW of solar capacity needed across the UK by 2030 in order to keep on track with Britain’s carbon budgets.
Join us in Glasgow on May 27 for the annual STA Scotland Conference.
This year’s annual STA Scotland event will be focusing on how to deliver the ambitious targets set out by the government through the involvement of key stakeholders such as government officials, DNOs, councils, businesses, innovators and academics.
These key stakeholders are responsible for driving change – maximising the connection, installation, consumption and trading of solar power today. It is integral that the value of solar and its synergies with energy storage, electric vehicles, heat pumps, and smart grids is recognised to help provide a more resilient energy system.
Additionally, we will be hosting a drinks reception following the event.
Address: 100 Candleriggs, Glasgow, G11NQ
