Liz MacFarlane said: “I was thrilled to be invited to join the STA board, and am looking forward to being able to assist in driving the UK’s agenda for wider deployment of solar PV, energy storage and EV, and to generally continue to bolster our industry.  The STA has always been a guiding and influencing force and one I’ve turned to throughout my career, and as a member, and it’s nice now to be able to contribute more directly.”

GRIDSERVE is a market leading utility-scale solar & battery storage solutions and EV infrastructure company, responsible for building York Hybrid Solar Farm, the UK’s most technologically innovative solar park to date. Jerry Stokes said: “The STA as the voice of the solar industry in the UK is perfectly positioned to support the delivery of subsidy-free solar to help tackle climate change, and I hope that with my 25 years in the solar industry I can add further credibility, experience and authority to the Board in this exercise and through greater deployment of solar significantly help move the needle on climate change.”

Richard Jenkins of Ecolution and Jeremy Leggett of Solarcentury have stepped down, with thanks from the STA for their service.
